On the Footprint page, you can collect footprint data of your orderlines. Request your supply chain partners to provide footprint data for each manufacturing step to calculate the impact of your garment.
Note: to be able to request footprint data, an extra module of footprint needs to be added to your account. Please contact your Client Success team to get extra functionality.
To request footprint data
Before requesting footprint data, the supply chains must contain certain steps. Mandatory steps are:
Spinning or yarn trading to collect yarn data.
Knitting, weaving or fabric trading to collect fabric data.
Sewing, confectioning or assembling to collect final product data.
Note: the supply chain can not be edited after the footprint data is requested. Please check carefully whether all supply chain steps needed are filled in by your partner before requesting footprint data. If you need to edit the supply chain of the orderline the footprint was already requested for, check this article.
On the Orderlines page, under the verification in progress or completed tab, select the orderline for which you want to request footprint data.
Expand the orderline, click on the More options button, and select Request footprint data.
Go to the Footprint page, find your orderline and click View Data to set a deadline for the supply chain partners to fill in the data.
Click on the set deadline and select a date.
Save the changes made when leaving the page.
Now your supply chain partners will get an automated email informing them that you have requested to provide footprint data for the step they are assigned to.
