Do you want to start with collecting footprint data in tex.tracer platform? Then we advise introducing the module to your supply chain partners first to help them become familiar with the process.
Introduction email
Dear <SUPPLIER NAME>,
I hope you are well.
As you already know, we are working with the tex.tracer platform to create supply chain transparency which is an important value for <COMPANY NAME>. We want to take the transparency one step further by initiating the collection of product footprint data. We can not do it by ourselves and therefore we would like you to join us.
Why? By collecting footprint data on product level, we can provide a deeper level of transparency to our customers as well as understand the environmental impact throughout the entire supply chain. This allows us to assess the current situation and set targets to reduce emissions.
How? In tex.tracer, each supply chain partner can provide their footprint data for each step or process in the supply chain. This means that you only need to fill in data for the supply chain steps you are assigned to including yarn, fabric, wet processing, and product levels. The collected environmental data is then analysed by performing a Life Cycle Assessment, also known as an LCA.
To guide you through the process, the tex.tracer team is here to answer any questions you may have: please use the chat box in the platform or contact the support team via [email protected].
Thanks for your cooperation in creating a transparent supply chain with us. Please contact me if you have any questions.
Kind regards,
<YOUR NAME>
