At tex.tracer we have identified and established a default 'scorecard' to calculate your partners performance. However, we know that every brand will have different goals and focus points so we have allowed for the scorecard to be customisable.
Please note that only a user with 'Admin' permissions can edit the scorecard.
How it is calculated
On the settings tab, you will find the scorecard set to the default range (if you have not made any changes). We have established the following ranges for our default values:
Low: -2-1 points
Medium: 2-4 points
High: 5-8 points
These ranges will change if you edit the criteria in the scorecard. You are always able to view the ranges of the scores on the settings tab to see how the data has been calculated and ranked on the other sections.
How to edit the scorecard
You can edit by going to the settings tab and opening the section you wish to edit. There are two sections, Environmental scorecard and Social scorecard. Once you have selected which section you want to edit, you will simply:
Identify the areas in which you would like to have weigh more or less on the score
Toggle left or right to adjust the 'points' given or percentage needed
Once satisfied, you can click Save
These settings can always be reverted back to our default settings or changed again to fit your updated goals. To change the settings back to default, you can click the 'Set to default' button at the top of the page.
Please note that you will be able to see when a score has been changed and by whom. Only users with 'Admin' permissions can edit these scores.
How to utilise the scorecard
The scorecard can be a great tool to help you personalise and streamline the data collected from your partners. Once you have identified your goals and focus areas using the scorecard, you will be able to focus on the partners who might be lacking in areas you find to be important.
This approach will save you time when following up and could help identify potential risks in your supply chain.
