For all order evidence uploaded in tex.tracer, we will check the location of upload and. If the location of upload is not within a 1km radius of the facility location given when creating the account, you will receive an email notification.

What do I do when the location is 'Not matching'?

If you receive an email notification that the order evidence upload location does not match, you can:

  1. Check the uploaded evidence in the platform. For more information on where to find, view, and download evidence, you can read more on our Order Evidence article.

  2. If the evidence looks correct and aligns with the order, you can either double check with your supplier as to why the location differs or ignore the notification.

The location could show as 'Not matching' for a few reasons, aside from being in the wrong location:

  • If the partner is using a VPN. In this case, the location of the VPN will be taken instead.

  • If the location is not correct in their account to begin with. A partner has to enter and then confirm their location on a map. It could be that the location pin was not in the right location when they confirmed. If this is the case, you can send them the Changing your company address article so they can fix it.

How can I see the location of upload?

At the moment, we do not have the exact coordinates shown in the platform. However, you can ask the Client Success team for a report that has the coordinates for order evidence that is not matching.

Do I need to do anything for order evidence that is 'Matching'?

In the case of 'Matching' order evidence, you will not get a notification but will see it under the orderline when expanded.

There is no action needed from your side but it is good to still check the document that was uploaded. If there is something not right with the document uploaded, you should check with the partner who uploaded it. You will see the name under the 'Evidence step' section. See below:
